The new clothes i just ordered online came, and... there to big. Will washing shrink my new t-shirts?
Question:i bought some tommy hilfiger, and calvein klein t shirts, but i bought them a large to large. That would be xxl when i am xl, i fel that i grew..:(. will washing them shrink them a little?
Answers:
Highly unlikely.
Just exchange them. It's easy.
Why don't you just return them and order the correct size? Much easier than trying to shrink a shirt...which would never look right.
You could return them and not risk any fading or discolored look by trying to shrink them in the washer, or you could shrink them and risk such things. Whichever one floats your boat.
Washing them may shrink them a little if they are cotton and you wash them in warm water, immediately followed by a spin in the dryer.
Return your purchases.
If the shirts are 100% cotton then there is only a 3% shrinkage when washed and dried. If the shirts ar 50/50 or pre-shrunk then there is even less of a shrinkage percent-if any at all.
Only if they are pure cotton. But for what you paid for them, I would return them and get the right size.
They might a little but being name brand not much.Call the store and just return them.I would,it probably will be no trouble at all to do...
Why not return them and exchange for the correct size? I think you would be disappointed with the washing/shrinking results.you can't always count on that. Do you have a friend that would buy them from you and you counld just order the correct size?
