How do i get glitter glue off of carpet?
Question:my brother got glitter glue on our carpet and my mom and I need to know what to do before my dad comes home and flips out.
Answers:
Try hot soapy water. let it sit for a few and sponge up. Glitter is really hard to get completely gone from anywhere but the glue should come up and your carpet should be nice and soft after. You may just have a few sparkles left.
Use Goo Gone. It's this citrus-y spray you can get in the cleaning section anywhere almost. Wal Mart, Target, etc. Give it a few sprays and let it sit. Goo Gone gets anything out of anything... glue, candle wax, oil/grease on clothing, etc.
Goo Gone is the best stuff in the world--it will work
Tell me the glue is water soluable. If it is, apply water, maybe a little bit of resolve, and use a damp rag to clean it up. Remember, pat, don't scrub or damage will be done to the pile of the carpet.
If it's not, there's lots of things you could try, but I couldn't guarantee any of them would not damage the carpet or stain it. Does the resolve help?
Wish I had better news!
