What is the proper was to put bed sheets into a top loading washer?

Question:I have tried every which way to keep them from balling up which prevents them for getting the proper agitation to get clean. Even with 2 sheets and 2 pillowcases being washed together, I can't prevent them from becoming tangled.

Answers:
You don't wad them up because they won't get clean that way. You have to lay them out long ways and then you would lay it down in the washer just as you have them layed out. You want the bed sheets to get evenly cleaned.

Don't wad them up when loading. Let them hang down and then put them in around the agitator, don't try to keep them on one side, lay the sheet around and then add the next one. I wash one king size set and one double bed set and one single bed set in my top loader and make sure the load setting is on the highest setting. I use the normal cycle and warm wash/cold rinse. For drying, you may need to put one complete bed set in a household dryer at a time or hang outside to dry for a fresh clean scent!
