Answers:
To remove marker stains from carpets, fabrics, shoes, skin, and furnature: use Purell Hand Sanitizer to saturate the stain, blot, repeat, the more you repeat the more the stain will fade, be sure to check in an inconspicuous area for color damage.
This may take a few repeats to completely fade to marker, but will work. It doesn't take longer than 15 to 20 minutes, if you saturate, blot and repeat.
Hope this helped!
U just need to keep washing it, it takes forever
Hm...sharpie is tough. I would try some very cheap, aerosol hairspray. Just spray it on, and hopefully it'll at least fade it. You'll be able to see it coming out if it's working. You can also try a pretreater like Shout. Whatever you do, do not dry the item until your satisfied with the stains removal. drying will lock in the remaining sharpie, and it'll never come out.
Denatured alcohol does a good job on sharpie.
Try hairspray and blot, repeat, blot repeat till done.
Try Spot Shot
Try Goop out
No hot water! Tapid only.
Whatever you do place obsorbent paper under to help control stain bleeding into wider area. Keep moving/changing pager to clean spot.
go to the sharpie website they have a sharpie stain remover on it. good luck
Permanent Marker Stain Removal from Clothing
You can try to remove permanent marker stains by rinsing the stains with cold water until the water runs clear. Place the fabric on a paper towel, then saturate the stains with rubbing alcohol, using a cotton ball as a blotter. Change paper towels as necessary as it absorbs the color. Wash the garment in the hottest water possible for the fabric, adding bleach (color-safe for colored fabrics), then rinse in warm water. Unfortunately, permanent marker is called permanent for a reason and cannot always be removed. Good Luck!...:)
Rinse the stain from the fabric with cold water until no more color is being removed. Place the fabric on paper towels and saturate with rubbing alcohol, using a cotton ball or small cloth to blot the stain. Replace the paper towels as often as needed to prevent re-staining the fabric. Treat the stain with a lather from a bar of Fels-Naptha Soap and launder as usual.
try goof off or goo gone, works for me!
First of all if you have washred and dried it you are out of luck. But use canned hair spray and wash. repeat till it comes out may take 2 or 3 times. do not dry in between let hang dry.
hair spray is great to remove ink stains just spray some on the stain and let it absorb then through it in the washing machine that should do the trick
