How do you get permanent ink out of harwood floors?

Question:Need to get black permanent ink off harwood floors, a painted wall and a window.

Answers:
Try WD-40 it smells but usually gets sharpie marker off of anything I get it on. If you have GOOF OFF the new one for painted surfaces it will work, as well.

Somtimes I use Isopropyl Alcohol to get ink off of my tables, and also I have heard that hair spray breaks up ink.
Ooh I am assuming they are finished? Hair spray will dissolve the marker. It also dissolves paint so just spray it on quickly and wipe it up immediately so it doesn't dull the surface. You may have to do this 3-4 times to get all of it. A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will sometimes work too but scrub as gently as possible because if you do it too hard it will dull the surface too. (I'd rather have the dull surface than the black mark though!)
