Dye everything black.Problem solved..
this is a very old problem. the solution is simple. stop using hot water. use lukewarm or cold.
I dont think u can i think that it is the constant bleaching that eventually gives whites that dingy color.
Try washing out the bleach with a good hot water wash with no soap.
Of course do not do this if it is a wool item - it of course will shrink
For "true" whites and take out the yellow use a type of wash additive called "bluing". The product gives whites a truer white look. Blue? Yeah! It's something to do with the light spectrums that the human eye sees with.
I can't remember the name of the product but it is next to the shout stain remover in a white and pink bottle. It does wonders on all types of stains. Or find one that has specific enzymes for certain stains. If you know of a warehouse that sell quanity products to hotels and motels go directly there for high quality products.
this is really good, i use to be a bleach fanatic, my son had a white baseball uniform that i couldn't bleach but i needed to get the stains out...i purchase a product called "iron out" i found it at kmart for around $4, but my mom has now switched to it as well and says she found it at walmart. it gets your whites like brand new! be careful though it smells, and is a powder follow directions like it says...but it's great...i swear by it!!
I use oxi clean with bleach and it works for me.
Have you tried "Shout"?
Rit dye has a "whitener" that will whiten and brighten any dingy white material that has become old looking. Also, the old fashioned "blueing"works great too, I use it with bleach to brighten my whites and my favorite white shorts, they're so white they glow...You can find blueing at your super market in the laundry section, only two drops is all you use per white load, try it you'll use it all the time. Follow the directions on the back label.
you cant keep washing them over and over again
