My daughter wrote on our pergo floors with a non-washable crayon, any ideas how to get it off?
Question:
Answers:
The pergo website says "use acetone/nail polish remover or denatured alcohol. Note: Do not use acetone on Pergo wallbase or quarter round."
Also, I saw that someone advised to use the magic eraser - I'd be careful - I love them but they do strip the finish off of some things(I learned this the hard way by using it on my table)
Good luck.
Degreaser.
Awsome Orange, you can buy it at the dollar tree.
goo-begone you can get it at any grocerystore or handystore. it is safe to use on your floor.
I use magic clean eraser for everything. My daughter colored on our white walls with perm black pen and it has gotten it off. She also colored on my sons swing with non washable crayon
Hi try wd40 spray it worked g8 on my wooden floor. Leave it on for about a minute then wipe off with a dry cloth.
hoper this helps.
a hammer and chisel might work.
Most crayons are made of wax, so get your iron out and heat it until it is warm, not Hot.Place two sheets of paper towel over the stain, and iron gently. remove the towel and do it again until you have removed all the crayon marks. Then clean the floor as usual.
