What is the best dishwasher soap to use?
Question:The liquid one that we have now leaves soap on our dishes! Which one should I switch to that will not do this?

I was told by a Sears repair man that the Powdery Soaps are better because they are a solid form that works as a cleansing agent. The Gels just slide off of the dishes. Also the powders have stronger ingredients in them that allow a deeper cleaning.

we use cascade and have found it works best. you may have to just clean your dishwasher. try running it 'empty' with a couple cups of vinegar dumped in during the 'wash' cycle... it cleans things out and helps it run cleaner.

If you have a Trader Joe's near you, their own brand always rates very high.
believe it or not, I found a brand at the dollar store that contains OXY, it works as well as Dawn.
Cascade Complete is by far the best.=)
Cascade Complete Powder, this is the one that plumbers, dishwasher repairmen and dishwasher manufactureres recommend. I use it my dishes come out sparkling clean.
