Air freshner ?
Question:I'm not sure i know what i'm talking about or how to describe it, lol but i was hoping someone could help me!
I've seen those "Air wick" i believe they're called, You plug it in the wall and it's like a fan that goes on, and it sends out a
"scent" once the fan starts to spin. Anyone know what i mean?
Well i am thinking about giving those a try, but i dunno if they're worth the money and if they work? if so, which is the scent to go with?
Thanks

I have recently started using those air fresheners that are basically a piece of glass with the freshener part on the back of the glass. They have only like 3 scents but they are nice scents. I use them in every room and they last like a month. Besides the fact that that are actually kinda pretty to look at, since they are glass, when the scent is gone, you can recycle them. TAH-DAH!
Dont know if they are air-wick or the other people.
they're a rip off and they never really smell as good as you think they will. i'm not a huge fan of sprays and scented oils and such as they always leave a thick 'aftersmell.' instead try simmering some citrus fruit slices, vanilla sticks, or herbs like lavender in a small pot on the stove. the smell is much more natural and lingers for a long time :-)
personaly im "alergic" to the airwick home perfumes (not the toilet sprays)
they used to have awfull smells but these days they seem to be better
id say give it a try they are not THAT expencive and if its no good toss it out!
maybe a good note is that after being in the smelly room for awhile you dont smell the perfume that much! that doesnt mean it doesnt work!
what smell? well thats personal so just try what sounds most apealing
I used a knock off store brand and thought it was a complete waste of money. I might have to revisit the things to see if the more expensive brands work better.
Also, I like to burn fragranced candles and incense and liquid potpurri.
THOSE WORK GOOD BUT I GOT THE ONE THAT IS $10 DOLLARS AT WALMART AND IS BATTERY POWERED AND DEPENDS WHAT ROOM U PUT IT IN AND COMES WITH 9 18 35 MINUTES AND THIS THING SHOOTS OUT FEBREEZE EVERY MINUTE OR WHICH TIME U SELECT ......
I have one similar it is a glade fan air freshener that I plug in the wall.
I think they are a waste of money, I think I have tried almost all the new air freshener´s there is. I myself use OUST, It get´s rid of all smell´s . They say it rid´s the smell of skunk, also if you want your house to smell nice , you can make your own pot-pourri & and your own scent
well i have the air wicks plug in with the glass scented cup things and they make my house smell so good it last like for a month i like the melon one
what you are talking about is the febreze plug ins with the fan i dont know about those but air wick is greaat they aork for me also when you mop you should use pine sol (blue) it make my house smell so gooood
airwick freshener works fantastic. buy it you won't be disappointed.
I agree! It is a waste of money. It says it lasts up to 45 days and that is what is means. It will run out before 45 days are gone. Then you have to go and buy another bottle.
I don't know about the Air Wick one, but I use the Glade Fan Plug Ins Scented Oil Air Fresheners. You can adjust the speed of the fan from 1-5 depending on how strong you want it to work. They also come with two outlets on the side of it so you don't lose any outlets in the socket. They work excellent and you have a wide assortment of fragrances to choose from.
Is this the one you mean, the Airwick X-Press?

I don't have any experience with this one, but I recently got an Airwick Night Light (I just plugged it in on Tuesday, actually).

This is the second Airwick electrical air freshener that I've owned, and they're pretty good, if a little too strong. I haven't been able to leave one plugged in for more than a few days at a time. Neither one I've had has had a fan, though, which might help. If you're at all sensitive to chemicals or fragrances, you might want to stay away from this: I've got several allergies and hypersensitivity to many fragrances, and I'm finding that even at the lowest setting, the fragrance is strong enough to give me a pretty bad headache. That having been said, I really like the Lavender & Chamomile and Clean Linen scents; I've found that the Lavender & Chamomile has a very relaxing effect on me, and the Clean Linen is sweet and fresh.
