For Father's Day, I want to make a t-shirt with the kids hand prints on it. What's the best type of paint?

Question:

Answers:
use fabric paint but not the ones from the bottle. the ones used specifically for painting on fabric. fabric paint is designed to be used on clothing and will not wash off. try looking for them at your local art store or even walmart's craft section

Any paint specifically for fabric will do. Make sure to read the label to make sure it won't wash off. :)
If you go to either hobby lobby, or joann fabrics, they have paints specifically for those kind of projects
Tempra paint is good for this(art supply). Don't let the kids eat it.
I would use fabric paint that you can get at wal mart or a craft store.
You will need fabric paint. Any craft store will have this. Make sure you wash the shirt first to avoid skrinkage after it is painted.
Fabric paint.
Be sure to heat set it.
Scribbles fabric paint. I just poured the paint into a saucer, and had the kids dip in there hands, then put there hands on the shirt. Wash hands right after so the paint wont dry on there. The following Fathers Day, we did footprints.
Fabric paint let dry by air then heat set in the dryer.
Go to a craft store and get fabric paint, that is washable, The experts at the store will guide you through it. If you get a heavy piece of cardboard and place the shirt on it, and tape it in the back, the shirt will not move and you will have no trouble .
