Dryer keeps cutting off?

Question:

Answers:
If all you have to do to restart it is wait a while and turn it back on, the motor is overheating. This is ussually caused by lint build-up inside the cabinet. First, unplug the dryer, then remove the front panel( depending on the brand & age, this could read "lower front panel".) Take your vaccum cleaner and use the hose to clean as much lint out as you can. try to reach back to the motor with your hand and try to wipe any & all lint off the motor. I suggest your hand because if you use anything else there is a chance of damaging the motor. Put it back together, and try it again. If it still cuts off, a new motor is indicated. Also, you really should vent a dryer to keep this from happening. They make a waterbath kit for interior wall dryers that keeps the lint from going everywhere. You can get one at most hardware stores.

Check the high temperature limit switch (replace it)
The temperature that it's supposed to cut off is stamped on the switch.
a hair dryer has a high temperature shutoff. This prevents a fire hazard or burn hazard to the user.

Clean the intake vent at the back of the dryer..if it is starving for air intake, the unit will overheat and shut down.

If your rear intake vent is clean, you may need to replace your dryer...
Maybe you need to go to the store and get another one I think every few years or so I thin you can get the plug from Home Depot or you might be putting to many clothes in there , because you know when clothes are wet they are heavier so watch out on overloading.
check the outlet plug it maybe loose or just get a new one.
