Stickers??

Question:You know when you peel a sticker off, the white stuff leftover? Is there any regular household item that will remove this? It is on a bed frame. PLEASE help!

Answers:
You can soak it thoroughly with water, then scrub at it with a green scratchy pad for cleaning dishes. It will eventually come off with a lot of scrubbing. If you don't want to go to all the work, buy "Goo Gone" in the cleaning aisle of most stores. It works like magic and has a nice citrusy smell. I know you wanted a regular household item, though. So...elbow grease?

use methilated spirits and a cloth
Try Goo Gone. It is made with citrus peel and has worked great for me. Apply it according to the directions. I have used it on metal, plastic, glass and finished wood. It is non abrasive too.
use goo gone it takes all the white stuff off and doesnt hurt the bed frame.I used it on mine before. and it smells citrusey=]
there's this stuff made for that it's called goo be gone i think
Why spend money when you can use use vinegar and water 2 part vinegar and one part water
Try softening the dried up glue with baby oil, eucalyptus oil or citrus spray. To give the glue time to soften, apply the oil, then wrap in plastic wrap, and half an hour later it should be soft enough to rub off. Don't use this on painted or varnished surfaces though as it can soften/remove paint as well.
Fine for laminates, most plastics, enamaled, or metal surfaces.
ok well the thing that will get it off is you need to take a rag and put water on it and then just let the rag sit there and eventually it will start to crumble into little pieces and it will peel off

Good Luck
To remove stickers or the adhesive left behind rub Listerine onto the area with a cotton ball.

Hope this helps.
there is a product named Goo Gone.It can be found in most stores(Walmart.Kmart etc. It removes almost every thing, glue, wax, sticky left from stickers, and many more things. this will help you with your problem
soak it with windex or better yet ammonia then it should scrub off very easily!

If the surface is too sensitive for ammonia then try isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol!

Goo Gone is also a good choice however quite a strong product!
I cant believe that no one has said this yet! Just use rubbing alcohol. wipe this on the sticker and it will remove all the residue left on your bed no problem. Plus it is echo friendly and cheaper than all those store products that may or may not work..

Good Luck...
I used to work in a book store and we needed to remove stickers without ruining the books. We first used a hair dryer on the sticker before trying to remove the stickers, it melts the glue and softens it for when you try to peel it off, then we used lighter fluid to remove any reamaining residue (if there was any). It is cheap and works like magic!!
Be very careful not to get it on anything else. but a dab of fingernail polish remover on a piece of cloth. Lightly rub the white sticker stuff and it should disappear.
Rub it with wd40 and it should come right off.
If it is not a wood bedframe, I would use Goo Gone. Awesome stuff! It will also take the melted bread bag off of your toaster, in case your curious! If it is wood, test the Goo Gone in an inconspicuous area first, I think it may soak into the wood.
use goo gone - its sold at any hardware store-come in an orange bottle
Also try to heat it up with hairdryer and scrap it lightly.
Pour some apple cider vinegar on a clean cloth & saturate the spot, then rub the sticky stuff off. Repeat if necessary.
nail polsih remover but try it on a little spot and see if it removes the paint.
magic earser rub it hard and it will come off.
razor, slightly remove it with scratching razor on it
alcoho,l its good too
