I have grease stains from food on a lot of my sweeeet sweaters, how do I get them out?
Question:The grease has been set in for a while and they have been washed. I didn't put the grease there, the grease was from my greasy brother wearing my garb ... if I can't ge the stains out, I will kill him.

No WAY!! Do not put paint thinner on your clothes!!! That might work on tough fabric like jeans but not soft sweaters. Either put dawn dish washing liquid on the spots before putting them in the wash, or put baby powder on the stain, rub it in let it soak up the oil and brush out with a dry tooth brush. don't put the powder on wet clothes they need to be dry. You may need to repeat the powder thing a couple of times but it really works great!!!
omg this happend to me on my favorite pair of jeans.. take a wash cloth put paint thinner on it and rub it across the grease spot.. it really does work
I know this will sound funny and I wouldn't believe it if I haven't used it over a dozen times and it worked every single time. It is a carpet adhesive remover called afta. You can get it at home depot. Dab a bit on the stain and wash like you normally would and.poof it's gone.
Don't worry if the stain is set or even been through a few washes. It will still work :)
All you need to do is put some dabs of dishwashing soap directly on the stain, the kind that is made to cut grease like dawn or palmolive, just let it sit for a few min and then wash as normal. if they dont come out the first time try it again they should diffently come out. This is how I get the grease out of all my clothes and it works everytime even if they are set in..
Good Luck...
Ps, stay away from the paint thinner...
