How do you seperate laundry?

Question:

Answers:
Whites (warm water/regular cycle)
Darks (cold water/delicate cycle)
Permanent Press (warm water/perm press cycle)
and
Delicates (cold water/delicate cycle)

You can either do lights and darks, or whites and colors. Darks - black, red, navy, etc. Lights - grey, white, tan, light yellow, etc. or whites alone and all the colors together. Usually you do whites in warm water and darks in cold.
I always seperate my laundry by whites, lights, darks and then I wash pastells seprate.
Obviously into the colour ranges if you need to worry about colour crossing over to other clothes, you don't want that beautiful white shirt take on a slightly blue colour. Delicates that can be machine washed and then the items that have to be handwashed.
seperate the under graments
from shirts and jeans
and put the shirts and jeans in one
pile
I usually do demin with the hubbys work t-shirts, then I do whites, then I have colored or I usually call that pile the kids clothes
