How do you get paint off a cement basement floor?

Question:My husband in his infinite wisdom spilled a large amount of white latex paint on our basement floor. It is a large puddle and not drying and how do we get it off without too much mess? The floor is cement and it's somewhat damp. THANK YOU!

Answers:
Scrape up as much of the paint as you can, latex paint is water soluble so what ever is left if it is still not completely dry will come up with warm soap and water. You will probably have a nice white stain though.

i'd scoop it out until it's thin layer; then i'd absorb the thin layer with a towel or sponge; and then i'd use paint thinner for any stains (with a scrub brush). to avoid the mess from the puddle, i'd maybe try to suck it out so that it does not slide all over the place. i do not know how large the puddle is...but maybe turkey basters? or anything that can suck, instead of push or sweep (which will get messy).
if soap and water dont work try some paint thinner
Try some Turpintine (not sure of spelling). Should get it right out no problems
