How can you remove nailpolish from a favorite tank top?

Question:I accidently spilled a little nail polish on my favorite tank top and i dont have any idea how to take it off!!have any ideas??

Answers:
This method should work for most fabrics: After testing for colorfastness on a hidden spot, sponge over the stain with pure acetone, available at beauty-supply shops and drugstores. Then launder the shirt as you normally would. Never use acetone on fabrics that contain triacetate or acetate (check care labels), because it can dissolve the cloth. For those, use amyl acetate, available at drugstores.

Scrub it really well with nail polish remover. If that doesn't work maybe try using a carpet scrubber on it. Hope I helped!
You can't - sorry. I bought an iron on patch (they come in all kinds of cute animals, flags, flowers, etc etc) and covered it.
What you can do if it's white put it in the wahser with bleach and that should get it out. If not I had a shirt that had some nail polish on it and it came of with non-acetone remover. But be sure to test it on the under arm part and if it loses it's color do the other side and tell people it was made that way. Or that you did it as a fashion statment! :)
