Laundry booster?

Question:how do I get my clothing cleaner? I use basic Sam's detergent and it doesn't seem to clean my clothes (children's clothing). Can I use vinegar in the wash?

Answers:
I sometimes buy the cheaper laundry soap and definatelly use a laundry booster with it, 20 mule team borax is good and inexpensive (about 3 dollars a box) you can also spot clean with it, try it sometime, it works good for me. GL!

Gain....I've used it for 20 years! And have 3 kids!!
try a mid range brand. you get what you pay for. I use surf- middle priced, works great.
I use just any general detergent, even the cheap kind. What really does it to keep my clothes smelling fresh is this fabric softener that you add to the rinse cycle...it's called Suavatel. Quite sometime back I got some clothes from my cousin from the previous winter that would fit my son. When I opened the box they smelled so good as if she just had washed them. She said she used Suavatel and I tried it and have been using it ever since...so has my mom, grandmother, and friends. You ought to try it! As far as stains, I use the Shout stick on it before I put it in the wash...works wonders for my messy kids clothes! Good Luck!
