Washing machine help please!! water won't run out pipe?

Question:Okay i had some laundry in the machine yes? problem now is it stopped running as soon as it hit RINSE. So it didn't come up to SPIN nor OFF, which is after spin. so now as you guessed the water just remains in machine. It just won't go up to spin, or off. Is it somethign to do with the pipes? could something be jamming up something? There was no unusual sounds coming from the machine while on. I have it on off now with all this water still in it. This has never happened before, it's a whirlpool. my mamas gona get home from wrk soon and she'll b pretty mad. any help?

i tried putting it back on the previous cycles to have it reach off to allow the water to run out. each time it just stops before or on rinse

It happens. Not your fault either. Stuff breaks. But try to remove all the clothes first. You can scoop water out. But try unplugging it for about 10 min too.
Its not generally the pipes. It is likely a belt, a timer that needs replacing, or the water pump.

If mom can't fix it then she will have to call the repairman.

Time for a new one, it is broke and is not worth fixing. It broke from someone putting to much in the machine at once.
Sounds like the water pump is broken. Time for a new machine as the cost of repair would be near the cost of a new machine.
Sounds like you need a new lid switch. When you raise and lower the lid on your washer, can you hear a click? If you can't, then that is definitely the problem. It's nothing major, the part costs about $25.
