How do I remove the yellow stains on my glass pieces?

Question:I've a few clear glass crokeries that haven't been used for a long time. How do I effectively get rid of the yellow stains on them and get them to look clear and shiny again?

Answers:
You might consider using vinegar, or lemon juice. They are gentle enough to do no damage to the glass surfaces. If that does not work, rubber gloves and regular chlorine bleach in a well ventilated area. If you are like me, you are allergic to chlorine, and must be very careful when using it.

I stick two denture cleaning tablets in hot water and let the pieces soak. Then wash with water and vinegar. The cleaning tablets usually do the trick.
