Why does my air conditioner smell like urine?

The last poster might be right about the animals going pee in it or it's probably because you need to change the air filter.
Maybe u have rats who peed in it.
Depending on what kind of air conditioner you have, you may need to either change the filter or wash the filter.
Thats hard to believe .
