Cleaner clothing?
Question:any tips for cleaner clothing. Especially children's clothes. Does baking soda, mule, vinegar any of these really work?
Answers:
I used Listerine ( of store brand similar) to wash our clothes in, especially my son's baby clothes. It kills anything that bleach does and it won't bleach out the colors. I have also used small amounts of preoxide when the listerine was too expensive. My uncle is a nurse and he told me about that little trick years ago!
sure..
it really works
I LOVE that dual power spray and wash..just spray it on and leave it for about 10 mins...then wash, it takes almost everything out. Also buy lots of white (gasp!) I used to think only idiots bought their kids white clothes...then I realized I'm the idiot...you can bleach the hell out of white! Even if it has some color on it the bleach pen works wonders!
I will be real steadfast in my opinion on White Vinegar I love this stuff for cleaning whole house and laundry it cleans, removes residues, deodorizes, removes stains, disinfects all surfaces, it is a all purpose cleaner and is touted as being the best disinfectant in the world, you can't go wrong when using White Vinegar/Apple Cider Vinegar both are excellent cleaners/deodorizers and stain removers and disinfectants, I would put a stamp of approval on Vinegar if they would let me, Baking soda comes in a close second when it comes to cleaning, but is not an all around cleaner as vinegar. Borax is great and does many surfaces, but still can not come close to Vinegar and vinegar is less expensive than commercial cleaners.
they all work great but also make sure you do not overload your washer... make sure there is a good water/clothes movement during the washer cycle will only improve the way your clothes will be cleaned.
Personally I use a laundry booster, like clorox2 or 20 muld team borax...i prefer the borax because it does a good job and costs less than clorox2. GL!
