To prevent it, wet the T-shirts and work up a lather with Fels-Naptha soap in each underarm prior to wearing it the first time and then launder them with your regular detergent. Once you already have the stains, treat the area with the Fels-Naptha soap in the same manner, but put them in a soaker load with Biz Activated Non-Chlorine bleach and let them soak for a few hours checking now and again whether the stains are gone and if not, lathering with the soap again. Every 4-5 times you launder your undershirts, add 1/2 cup of bleach and a couple of drops of Mrs. Stewart's Bluing for extra whiteness which will keep the bleach in check (from yellowing your shirts) and make the T-shirts eye popping white. Your body chemistry is reacting with the aluminum chlorhydrate in the anti-perspirant which is causing the yellow stains in the arm pits. Be thankful it is on white undershirts and not on your dress shirt because they are more difficult to get out.
To remove: dissolve a couple of aspirins in your washing water
To prevent: change your deodorant (Degree and Odorono are great!)
I think using deodorant that doesn't leave residue will help prevent stains.
