Removing hard water stains and cleaning a texutred shower? PLEASE HELP!!?

Question:Ok I have my final walk through for my apartment tomorrow afternoon. The base oof my shower has tons of little dots to give it the textured look. Last night I tried soft scrub twice, this stuff called the works twice, ajax twice, and the mr clean magic erasers twice and it just wont get clean. There are also hard water stains all over my sliding doors (I do not think they are glass but are a plastic type material) and there are even hard water stains on the metal! used windex and this oxy shower cleaner on the doors with poor results, I also dont know where to go to get a good scrubber brush! Bought one that was green and left little green things all over the place, and home depot didn't have anything I thought was strong enough! PLEASE HELP!!

Answers:
Either try a 50/50 mixture of distilled white vinegar and water, or used fabric softener sheets. Take a sheet that has been run through the dryer once. Wet it with water. Squeeze out excess water and scrub the hard water stains. Rinse with water and dry with a towel.

I like the Libman Power scrub Brush, the Libman Shower and Bath Brush, and Libman Heavy Duty Scrub Brush. http://www.libman.com/index.aspx?src=pdi...

Hard water stains are very difficult to remove.Maybe try lime away.Read the directions first, its strong and not for all surfaces.
scrub brush. grocer/Walmart etc...

bleach.. plug drain & let it soak then scrub

hard water stains... white vinegar... let it soak OR LIME AWAY

that should work... good luck
Magic eraser will do the doors. Try covering the drain with something plastic to keep a little water in the bottom, then pour in a cup of bleach and let it sit for an hour or 2.

good luck
S.O.S. pads!

first try white distilled vinegar... if you have no luck, get the SOS pads... they work wonders!
They understand about hard water stains. Don't kill yourself. I can tell you nothing short of etching it off with acid will remove it. We too have very hard water and when we moved out of our apartment they told us to clean the best we can and don't overdo because they have a cleaner that comes in right after you and cleans everything again, they replace toilets, facets, can get the chemicals to treat the hard waters, etc. So no worries. We also got our full deposit back and we had some blackening on the tubes.
look for a cleaning product that is phosphoric acid or oxalic acid based (and wear gloves and eye protection for goodness sake). The hard water spots are from calcium and manganese and they require something that is capable of dissolving the metal salts. These acids are chelators that will break down the salts and help you dissolve the spots.

Scrubbing alone is useless.
