What can you use to get red nail polish stains out of carpet?

Question:I was thinking club soda or oxi-clean. Any other ideas?

Answers:
Rub with a little nail varnish remover or white spirits, then wash with warm water and a little soap. Use a sponge for this, hard brushes only break the fibers in the carpet. Once you have washed and rinsed the area, Lay a towel with a heavy object on top, this will help dry the underside of the carpet, leave over night like this. Then leave to dry with natural air, hope this helps a little. You might find this area of the carpet will have to be steam cleaned at a later date, as sooner or later the water mark always reaches the surface

I heard oxi-clean works good for that. Also maybe just try nail polish remover. The same thing happened to me a while ago and I just scrubbed and scrubbed, but then I cut the little fibers on that section out. Don't tell my dad that though, he didn't notice yet. ;)
no idea
I have had this problem with my daughter before. I took fingernail polish remover and some q tips. It works but it will take some time and you can't just poor it on the carpet.
