How do you get leather belt stains off of clothes?
Question:I was at an amusement park yesterday, and got on a water ride. I wasn't expecting to get too wet, but got drenched. I had a leather belt on and it proceeded to stain my t-shirt, shorts, and a brand new polo. Any suggestions on how to get these stains out would be greatly appreciated. I have already tried woolite detergent and regular laundry detergent. Thank you in advance!

Not sure you can really get them out unless you try the Oxy Clean products to see if that works.
What has happened is that the leather has the stain on the outside of the belt and it is sealed, but not the inside, therefore the stains bleed through the hide. Try spraying a clear varnish on the inside of the belt (once dry) to seal out any further bleeding of the stains or try a saddle wax which acts as a barrier itself. Kind of like goves on hands while in dirt...you create a barrier to keep from stains on hands. Hope this helps out sweetie!
