How do you get the smell of mildew out of your clothes?

Question:

Answers:
In nice dry weather, hang them outside for the day.
Then place them in a garment bag full of fragrant Cedar. The cedar will remove smells and moisture; plus it has a great smell of its own.
Past that point, airing it out is the best thing you can do.
If the clothes are washable, WASH!
Good luck.

try adding vinegar to your laundry
Wash normally for the type of fabric. Hang out in the SUNLIGHT to dry thoroughly. The sun kills mould spores and freshens the fabric. You could add a pleasant smelling fabric softener of your choosing to give that extra nice smell. The SUN is the answer - every time!! Good Luck.
I rewash my clothes with baking soda added to the wash cycle. I add about 1/2 cup.
If it is white, add some bleach to clothes. Otherwise add the bleach for colors to clothes. This may help you.
Soak in baking soda. That gets rid of all smells, then wash in warm water, with lots of detergant. Then dry on high heat
[with some bounty sheets]that should get rid of the mold smell:) Hope that helps:)
