Does anyone know a way to repair a bleach spot on a black shirt?
Question:I am furious I was cleaning at work and the toilet bowl cleaner is Clorox- this is not the first garment that has been ruined by this. I can't afford to be buying new clothes...
Answers:
if the color was bleached off, the only way to fix it is to re-dye the shirt.
can u afford a dry cleaners? they can or some send it out for a dye job! probably cost around $14.00, goodluck
Try a black sharpie pen. It may be close enough that you don't notice it.
Otherwise, you will need to bleach the entire thing and re-dye it.
LOL this might be a bit ghetto... but I have used a black permanent marker of a bleach mark and it's work fine. Mine was on a sweatshirt though..LOL
Good luck!
Use a black sharpie pen or magic marker.
Other colored markers for other clothes with bleach spots.
Thats what I do.
:)
You can try dying it but don't hold your breath.
rit dye (it comes in all shades, it can also be used to tye dye) you can get it at any drug store meijer, wallmart, or kmart.
it can come as a powder you put it in the washer with the garment on soak and let it set.after you have to run the washer a few times without anything in it or just black clothes so it does not dye your other clothing.
good luck ;)
That is an easy one to fix! All you have to do is get a black permanent marker and color in the spot.BTW be sure to wash the garment inside-out after you color it in.
This has happened to me quite a few times and I am not too sure if they still sell it..It is call Dye comes in a box of every color basically you are going to have to re-dye the shirt to black..It work!
