You first need to remove the source of the smell, THE MOLD. If you know where it is, such as shower, bathroom, then you can easily kill/clean the mold with a bleach cleaner (with your lungs, perhaps have someone use these cleaners for you). Once the mold is eliminated, the smell will go too. To refreshen your home though, try using Frebreeze after then cleaning is done. Frebreeze will eliminate the other smells and refreshen the air.

If you are getting a mold smell from unseen sources, then you need to call a professional as it will only get worse and harm your health.

bleach is the only thing that will kill mold.
Best thing that I can tell you to do ,would be put small bowls of straight ammonia around your house, in out of the way places. If that bothers you, just put one bowl out . It takes the smell of all kinds of things away, and you don't smell the ammonia, once you set it down. Bye
amonia- please let it be in a well ventelated room-vinigar-baking soda they have a laundry soap with baking soda might be well worth checking into befor amonia because that is very dangerous.
Mold , where is the mold,if you have a lot off it ,then you must use a fungicide solution for this, it´s the only thing that will kill the mold. Bleach seams to get rid of the mold , but this only last for a few months then it will be back again. If you have a dehumidifier this will help a little
Clorox
If your health is the main reason please call prose to do it right , that way if it comes back thay will redo it free and there is no miss takes. ps. if it is black mold get out a.s.a.p. no kidding.
Bleach and water solution in a spray bottle...Bleach not only kills the mold , it also bleaches out the stains sometimes leaves on showers ...
Depending on were the mold is .let the solution sit for at least 15 Min's and then rinse with water.

When mixing use:Two parts Bleach to five parts water.
Mix 2/3 water to 1/3 vinegar in a spray bottle and spray on the mold. This will not only kill the mold but will immediately take away the smell. If you don't like vinegar then change it to Tree Tea Oil in the same measurements. I learned this from some research when my husband became sick from mold in our apartment from a repair for a leak that was not repaired properly. BLEACH DOES NOT KILL MOLD! Bleach will clean the surface pores for a short period of time but does not kill the entire mold growth or the smell. As this is a health concern for you as it was with me with my husband, please trust me on this one. Vinegar works beautifully and you will notice a change in your air once the mold is killed. I certainly did. Good luck and stay healthy.
I'm 33 and I have been cleaning for some time now. I cleaned for the military when the families moved out of housing. I have also cleaned for a nursing home and I clean for my family. I clean my mother's house because she had a stroke. Bleach is the only way to clean up mold and If you want the mold smell out of your house you can use backing soda because it's a natural odor elimator. You can also use vinagar. Just put the backing soda or vinagar in small containers around the living space and the smell will go away. Good luck.
