I recently did a white wash unknowing dat a pen had leaked in my shirt pocket. It gave all my whites blue tint
Question:what can I do to restore my whites?
Answers:
I guess its time for a new white wardrobe if the soaking in bleach over night didn't help about a cup full in a full washing machine load or try nappy sand. same dose good luck.
get a whiteness restorer, in the washing powder aisle of most decent supermarkets, near the fabric softener. If that doesnt work boil them to within an inch of their life...
hi !! simply take your whites back to there original glories by pouring red wine over them.leave the wine to soak for 10 minuits.then add some vinegar.the vinegar takes the red wine away AND the stains! good luck ;O)
First fill your washing machine with the hottest water your clothes can handle, then add one cup of White Vinegar to the water without adding any detergent then soak for about three hours then when three hours has elapsed you may then turn on your machine and wash on a complete full cycle wash without adding any detergent or fabric softner, your shirts should return to their original color if not then pretreat your shirts with undiluted vinegar and allow to sit for a few hours then rewash without detergent and do not add fabric softner as vinegar softens and removes stains and will clean and whiten your whites. Or follow this treatment Make pen ink disappear
Did someone in your house come home with a leaky pen in his pocket? Treat the stain by first wetting it with some white vinegar, then rub in a paste of 2 parts vinegar to 3 parts cornstarch. Let the paste thoroughly dry before washing the item.
Good Luck !
