What is the best way to get extreme urine and feces odors out of my concrete floor? HELP!?
Question:My family room floor had the carpeting taken up and as I have several dogs, well .
Also, I lost a dog almost a year ago and he was peeing a great deal in this room for several days maybe even weeks prior to dying.

I have used a product called Odo Ban for my carpet and floors for quite awhile and it really works. I get mine in gallon jugs at Sams Club. I would flood the floor with this product and let it sit for awhile and then I would either mop it up or vacuum it up with a wet/dry vac.
If that does not work, try a Janitorial supply store and see if they have anything that will kill the odor.
bleach and water mixture
bleach or clorox
There are a zillion products out there, tried them all but nothing worked proir to laying new carpet. So heres the thing.. regular old bleach to kill the bacteria and such. Then plain white vinegar poured over it to neutralize the acids. Then paint over it with something like the paint one uses to cover crayons or smoke residue on a wall before you paint it... it seals it.
It really is that simple...
Leave Lysol on it overnight or longer if needed. Lysol is powerful.
Clean it with bleach, etc. and put the dang dogs outside!
I totally agree with Josie826. I use Oda Ban in my home on pet stains. Some hospitals use it for disinfecting. I get mine @ Sam's Club or a Janitorial Supply Store.
if it is that bad
use a concrete sealer, then you get a new floor
Bleach the concrete...let it air dry...this should work but don't get discouraged it will take several times and you may even still smell it on damp days...mix bleach with water as strong as you can stand it and not burn your mucose membranes inside your nose!
