Question:The glue hardened immediately. I tried acetone based nail polish remover...didn't work. Any suggestions would be sooooooooooo appreciated! Thanks!

nail polish remover will take it off
oooooo that is baddddd. super glue is soooo hard to remove... the best thing i could suggest is REALLY hot water... maybe put it on the stove??
or if you wanted to get extreme, you could use sand paper. it may slightly damage the clear finish thats on the granite, but thats an easy fix, you can go to your local store like target, meijers, or walmart, and find the finish... good luck
I read this, but never saw the stuff, worth a try.
There is a super glue solvent that is sold at most places where super glue is sold.
Good luck
Super Glue Removal from Countertop
You probably didn't count on cleaning superglue from your countertops when going about your regular kitchen cleaning. What to do? Nail polish remover with acetone should remove super glue from most kitchen countertops without harming the surface, as should WD-40. If neither of these products work, you'll want to ask the advice of a countertop installation professional.Good Luck! =)
You need to get pure accentone, soak a rag and let the rag sit over this glue for about an hour checking every 10 minutes or so. This should losen the glue for you.
Try soaking a cotton ball in nail polish remover, test on an inconspicuous area. Then, place it over spot, let stand. Or w/ out the polish remover, just gently scrape it off w/ a razor blade.
