Do you really need to use special detergent for a high capacity washing machine for clothes?

If you have a high capacity front loading washer, you must use HE detergent. The others generate too many suds and ruins your washer. I can not advise you on top-loading large capacity washers.
I have used regular detergent in a front load washer and it took me four rinses to get all of the suds out. So yes you really need to use HE detergent.
All you have to do is cut level down to 1/2 the amount. Then next time buy the regular soap. All in the world the difference is, is that it has an agent in it that cuts down the sudsing action
I have a front-loading washer, and with the regular detergents, my clothes were still soapy and sudsy at the end of the wash. This doesn't happen with the HE detergents.
You must use the HE detergent, it is because it does not create so much suds in your washer. It can also ruin the machine.
