Set your alarm clock to go off in 15 min´s time. see how much you can achieve in this short amount of time. Trust me you will be surprised. Okay, All dirty clothes put in a pile next to the bedroom door. You can take them , along with anything else to their rightful places. All clean clothes to the closet. don´t forget the shoes under the bed. You don´t have to do all in one day, When the clock goes off, have a rest, put your feet up, but if you decide you would rather carry on, then do the same again, set the clock for another 15 min´s, and carry on this way. All reward yourself when you have finished, 15 min´s here and there make a big difference, Now that the nice weather his here , you don´t want to be stuck in door´s cleaning your room. Try for yourself, it work´s for me , It just might work for you.
Hire a maid.
Have a bin bag for rubbish and another for laundry (and don't mix them up like my mate did...), first make 3 piles from the rubbish, laundry and the washing up.
Put the laundry on and do the washing up. When you go back it won't look so bad.
Next start piling stuff up on the bed, hoover the floor, polish the shelves and start putting stuff back on the shelves.
My lad started his room two weeks ago and theres only 2 piles of stuff left to put away now.
Sort out your storage space. Throw away anything you don't need. If someone else can use it take it to a charity shop, the rest goes to the dustman. When you've cleared the area clean it. Then remember to pick up your toys and put your clothes in a wash basket for the rest of your life.
keep the door locked so no one can see the mess
This is not to be tackled on an empty stomach - you will need plenty of energy, loads of rubbish sacks and determination to see the job through. Remove all rubbish first and any nasty leftover food - better wash the dishes though!
Next hang up all reasonable clean clothes or fold and put away. Any horrid laundry will have to be put out for the wash.
You should now start to see that the task is not as bad as you thought. Put books on shelves or in artistic piles and with a duster and vacuum cleaner you should see the end of it.
If not, abandon all hope and go down the pub!
Black Bag's fill them and through it all out ( empty but tidy)
