Leather or suede lounge?
Question:I am about to buy a new lounge. But not sure which to go for: Leather or Suede. I have cats that always leave their hair everywhere, but im also worried about them scratching. Anyone have any thoughts. Which is better over all

I have the same problem with cat hairs and the scratching. I would really appreciate a better solution than mine. here goes. I have all my sofas reupholstered in faux leather, I find that the cats scratch less often (they still do) and I have my sofas reupholstered every 2 years or so..
I don't know if any of those would be scratch proof from your cat but leather is definitely easier to clean.
All Leather would be my choice. It is so much easier to clean and very durable.
I've had leather/vinyl combo furniture and it did not hold up.
Suede will attract and hold dirt and fir.
Be sure to get a new scratching post for your cats at the same time you get your new lounge. Rub catnip on it.
Leather is going to be much easier to clean than suede. However, there is the scratching and unintentional claw marks that show with leather.
If your cats are furniture scratchers, there is not much you can do either way unless you are willing to do some intensive training. Get them a scratching post and keep it close to the furniture. Have a spray bottle with water on hand to spray the cats in the face every time they try to scratch your furniture. Be consistent and spray them for every infraction on any furniture, not just the new lounge. Rub the post with catnip to attract them.
If you don't want to do the work, you will have to live with the scratch marks no matter what the fabric.
Suede you can vacuum it and plus it has more resistance to cat scratches
