sand it off. If the wood is unfinished.
Try finger nail polish remover.
finger nail it off, or sandpaper(very fine) Not much else.
before you try sand paper, I'm going to assume this might be your finished wood floor? If it is a finished wood surface, try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It has pulled so many surface stains off of so many different surfaces for me.
If you do use sand paper, be perpared for an ugly scuff mark that you might need to refinish.
Gently use steel wool.
NOT the brass looking wider strand Chore Boy ones but the thin strand ones used to stuff holes to keep out mice etc.
