How to clean stains on unfinished wooden doors?
Question:Basically the door is all wood that is not lackered or painted, and it has greasy finger stains and black marker/pencil marks. What kind of wood cleaner can I use?

try to sand it down and clean it off ,but becareful on which way the grain of the wood is going .if it,s going upand down then do not go side to side when sanding .it,s a no brainer .
Murphy wood soap or a sander
If they are not too bad you can use 150-220 grit sandpaper on a flat block, or sander and they should come out. Patience.
DON'T use Murphy Oil Soap. You will REALLY have some stains if you do. Sand them out. That is the best.
