Window Shrink-Film Removal?


Question:This winter I put up window heat-shrink-film to help insulate the windows. Now I'm finally taking them down, but I can't get the double-sided tape off of the window sills! I figured that the plastic would just tear off the tape with it.

Any suggestions on how to take this sticky tape off?

Straight edge razor blade, clean excess off with alcohol(rubbing) or sticky remover.

remove as much you can then used good old W-40 on it rub it in the comes off
Use a blower on warm. Peel off while using the dryer.
