Flylady has a page that tells you in detail about crisis cleaning, it's great when you need to get a lot done when you don't have much time.

I always start the day by turning on the radio and grabbing a garbage bag. I start throwing away all the trash my hubby and kids left out. Then I wipe down everything. Next i pick up toys, and dishes and put where it all goes. I then fill the dishwasher (or hand wash) and wipe down kitchen counters. Then I sweep any hard floors. Next I vacuum. Get a routine and make sure everything has a place to put it back. If it doesn't, after you clean, start organizing. If you are out of room, go through and pack up in totes what you don't use regularly. If you haven't used in over a year, throw away or donate to a resale or church. Or have a yard sale. :) Best of luck!
*Tackle a couple small projects each day...

*Start a load of laundry.move to something else.

Ok, to clean the bathroom. I run the hottest water I can into the tub/shower and I fill the tub and add 1 cup bleach to the water and let that sit... I also have a spray bottle with 1/2 bleach/water and I spray the tiles...Let sit for atleast ten min.

I also put 1/2 c. in the toilet bowl

Sometimes I do this at night before bed.Depends on what you like...

*Bleach is good to leave if you can overnight.. It freshens and will unclog any stubborn drains.

Rinse down bathroom...should'nt need much scrubbing.Once a month or every other month I wax my tub/sink with car wax so dirt doesn't stick... and I put shaving cream in a thin layer (and wipe down) in my mirror or rain ex
so it doesnt' fog...

I sweep the floor, clean the sinks and wipe down the counters/mirror,and the outside of the toilet.Mop floor.Close door and move on to something else.

Kitchen..Sun...Clean fridge..remove any old food/discard and wipe inside.. I put baking soda in the fridge...keep smells down.. I wipe down everything from top to bottom so any mess everything is on the floor. I vacuum my kitchen, the corners ceiling everything I can reach... spray the counters/appliances with cleaner and wipe everything down. mop floors done.(Mr. Clean magic eraser get one it's awesome!)

Bedrooms.I vacuum/dust quickly...clean mirrors and put away lingering clothes/or put in laundry... Clean any ceiling fans.Make bed in the AM.but not first thing remove bedding and air out bed...Keeps dust mites down..or vacuum the matress... (I use febreeze sometimes...)

Any living areas vacuum/mop... Dust... If wood floors use Murphys Oil Soap sparingly and barely wet mop...Wood floors will warp if wet too much.

I vacuum my furniture once a week.

To freshen my carpet once a week or as needed I use baking soda...sprinkle on and leave overnight if possible and vacuum... If you have some staining of the carpet .Regular shaving cream (not gel) is good to get a spot out.Just wet stain with warm water and use a hand brush.blot with clean towel or place heavy can or book on top to blot.

At night (every night) before bed I load dishwasher/wipe counters and mop (15 min).. Really helps keep work down

*I have a 3 bdrm home with 1 1/2 bedroom and a family rec room in the basement...(1,700 sq. feet) .I also have 2 children under 5 and a very large dog that sheds...So, I hope that these tips work for you and good luck.*Also to keep dirt down...make an area for shoes and not let ppl wear shoes in the house it really helps.
I clean houses and offices for extra money. and I do this when cleaning my own house. I take one room at a time and start from top to bottom. Put away and throw away items. Then clean. In this order I start knocking down cobwebs and dusting the corners and baseboards then I dust furniture, then sweep. For some reason I do the bathrooms last like the sinks and toilets and bathtub or shower. I use natural products. Like vinegar and baking soda to clean. Also Simple Green. Simple Green is non toxic and a good degreaser. I hope this helps......

Also if you have ten days to get the house clean take a more than one day to clean.
