My neighbour asked me to do her washing for her but I mixed up the bottles what can I do?
Question:The washing machine has just started its final rinse and I have just discovered that I must have added 2 caps of extra strong bleach instead of fabric conditioner. When I went to put the bleach down the toilet I tipped the fabric conditioner instead. They are both in similar looking bottles. My neighbour's washing has gone a funny shade of greeny grey, what can I do? Please help!

LMAO!!! sorry I know I shouldnt laugh but this is pretty funny! this is the type of thing that would happen to me! . If I were you I would explain whats happened and then run! ... but at the end of the day, she should buy a washing machine and do her own washing then things like this wouldnt happen! or use a launderette like most people I know who dont have a way of washing their own clothes! ...
Put your home up for sale quick! Seriously tho you are going to have to admit what has happened and see if she has an insurance cover against home accidents. If not I can visualise you having to fork out for some replacement articles.

Not much you can do now. Just admit your mistake and offer to replace the ruined items. Hopefully, she'll understand. It's only clothes, not worth ruining a friendship over.

If it was a white wash you made be able to get some brighter, such as Oxi White (think that's what its called!!) Failing that you could dye all the clothes a better colour than greeny grey. Does she like pink?! At the end of the day I wouldn't worry. We all make mistakes and this isn't the end of the world. If she's that bothered about her washing she should do it herself and not rely on others.
