What is a good vacuum?
Question:I love to walk around my house barefoot, so I hate dirty floors. I've gone through two vacuums in the past two years and haven't been crazy about either of them. My house is a good 50/50 tile and carpet. I don't have as much of a problem with getting the carpet clean, but with a regular upright vacuum I don't find that my tile gets very clean. Should I be using a different kind of vacuum - lately I've just given up on the vacuum and my tile and resorted to a swiffer sweeper. What is a great vacuum that will be multifunctional for both my carpet and tile?
Answers:
I have done janitorial work for over 20 years and have used every vacuum under the sun. The one I use for cleaning offices and houses is a Simplicity. There are different models you can get. The tools are built into the sweeper it is light weight and it last a long time. My brother has one for his cleaning business and the Simplicity last longer than any other brand he has used. I have used both the hoover and eureka brand there not bad. I think the bagless vacuums are not durable. The only place I have seen Simplicity is at janitorial supply store. Where I live there is a local business that sells vacuums.
Also I do use a Simplicity in my home.
I hope this helps......
Well I have a DYSON, It´s a great hoover for both carpet & tile floors, In my home I have ceramic & marble flooring. I also have a few rug´s but after I pass the hoover it look´s so clean, you would think I´d just washed them as well. Also no bag to throw away, easy to clean filter, wash in cold water leave to dry for 12 hrs & pop straight back, great if you have persons with allergies, or pets. Has to be the Dyson
