I NEED MAJOR HELP! HOW CAN I REDUCE THE MOISTER IN MY BASEMENT CHEAP and FAST?
Question:My basement is really moist and moldy too cause of all the rain and flooding we had. and i dont have enough money for a dehumitifier but i need to get this moister out fast.
PLEASE TELL ME WHATS A NOTHER WAY THATS CHEAP TO HELP ME?!

There are products called DampRid- they make ones that have crystals which absorb the moisture. You can find them at Lowe's or Home Depot for about $20.
For the mold, you need a product that will kill it. White distilled vinegar is a great, natural, inexpensive way to kill mold, and to deodorize. The vinegar smell dissipates as it dries.

Well you could start a fire in your basement; but that would probable burn down your house. You should have small windows at the top of your basement which actually go outside. Open them up and put a few small fans in them sucking out the air...
Bleach will kill the mold. I think you should look in the paper or on craigslist to purchase a used dehumidifier. If you ask on craigslist in the wanted section someone might just call you!
