Why do bedsheets pill?

the higher the thread count the better the sheets.over 500 and you'll never sleep w/ PJ's again..the hight thread count sheets cost more, but it is well worth it..you can find cheaper one at Value City or overstock.com also check this site out for the cause of pilling....

They pill when the thread count is low from friction. It's really annoying. Try to buy higher thread count sheets
Any cotton/polyester blend sheets will usually do this. Buy 100% cotton, and you will not have this problem. The heat from the dryer causes the polyester threads to break and roll up into pills if not dried on premanent press low heat. Sometimes that doesn't work..
You need to buy a higher thread count. Lower counts (200-250) will pill.
