Will nail polish take paint out of clothes?

Question:

Answers:
I'm assuming you meant nail polish "remover". If it has acetone in it, then it will dissolve the paint, but will not take it out. Using it will probably make it worse because it will "set" the paint more deeply into the fabric. It really depends on how much paint is on the clothes. If it's a small drop, I would wait until it dries and try to scrape it off. You can try the polish remover but at the risk of permanently damaging the fabric.
More than likely, the clothes are ruined anyway, so it won't hurt to try. Instead of polish remover though, I would go to the nearest hardware store and buy some pure acetone. You can also try a beauty supply store they will have smaller bottles so you don't have to buy a huge jug.
Good Luck!

Even if you meant nail polish remover the answer is still no. Try turpentine if the paint is dried or a quick wash with soapy water if the paint is still wet.
you may be thinking of nail polish remover, and NO it does not work, turpintine is good, but do a test before using it.
