How do I get a mildew smell out of my shower drain?
Question:I've heard of using a bleach/water solution? How much do I use of each? How long should I let it sit for before rinsing it out with hot water?

I pour about a cup of bleach down the drain, let it soak an hour or so, then run hot water through.:)
Just dump straight bleach down the drain (use no more than a cup). Let it sit a half an hour then turn your shower on and it'll rinse on it's own.
Only a little will do.. old stains you have to soak at least a night, using about as much as it needs to whiten the porselain. I see you understand where I'm getting at... A shower, stays clean, when it is not used as a Water Closet

Try putting a cup of baking soda, salt and a little bit of vinegar . Let it sit for 10-15 minutes then rinse with hot water!
