You have to wash yourself in cat poop. I know that it sounds gross but it works better than the tomato sauce trick.

Pet supply store in the dog section Simple Solution makes a product called Skink Away. My in-laws have a dog that goes after skunks like a heat seeking missile, so I bought this for them as a joke. They used it out of desperation and said it is the ticket, works wonders.
