Cleaning mattresses.(deodorizin...

Question:What's the best way....also pillows too.
Thanks!

Answers:
I vacuum my bed when i change the sheets. Once a month i lightly spray the mattress with diluted bleach water this kill bacteria and probably everything else. It will always smell clean. If you want you can use rubbing alcohol instead. I wash my pillows also.

Several times a year vacuum them and spray with Febreze and be sure to flip and rotate them.

The pillows can be run through the dryer and then sprayed.
I think scrubbing it down with a safe cleaning agent and letting it air dry over night, now 4 the pillows put them in the washer with a sensitive detergent so that your skin isn't irritated should do the job. to keep up newly sanitized bed and pillows it would be much easier to maintain them with a mattress cove and pillow case, that you can purchase from target : >
Yup, vaccum your bed regularily. (research mites, after 10 years your matress will double in weight because of the dead mites in your matrress [they eat your dead skin cells that fall off when sleeping]) And if you have cotton pillows (not down) you can throw them in the washer and dryer and get they really clean, just be careful not to fill the washer up too much, mine overflowed the last time I washed my pillows.
