Whirlpool Cabrio dryer malfunction?

Question:I currently own a Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer. The dryer is equipped with a feature that allows it to 'automatically' dry your load as opposed to a timed dry. Whenever I use the auto dry, it seems to get stuck and continues to run long after the clothes are dry. I've only had the machine for not even 6 mos.--What's wrong? I'm concerned that if left unattended, the dryer could overheat and start a fire.

I would call the number in your manual. It could be a defect from Whirlpool. I have not had any problems with my Cabrios at all. You could just have one that has a problem.
