Bagless vacuum cleaner?
Question:i have a bagless vacuum cleaner and was wondering how do i clean the filter without banging it against the side of a dumpster and creating a huge dust storm ?

keke I have the same sort of Vacuum, That's what I do too But, I put mine in a bag and bang the holy jeebs out of it. After I run the filter under my sink faucet. But don't use a hard spray. To get that dirt out. I soak mine after I get all the dirt out.. for about an hour in laundry detergent and then rinse it out and let it air dry too so you can get that funk smell out. I place mine in the sun to dry it out.

I throw mine accross the lawn. I still get the messy dust storm, but atleast it isn't two feet from my face.
if you have a dyson you only need to clean it throughly (under water, let it dry on the sun)every 6 months, otherwise it's just fine to just empty the canister eventhough the filter looks dirty
That is the exact reason I went back to a vacuum with bags!
