Where can i purchase a vacuum in nyc for under $100?

Question:Looking to purchase a vacuum for a small office. looking for one that stands upright w/ bags preferrably.

not looking to spend more than $100.

already checked pc richard & son, home depot, & macys.

(looking to buy in manhattan), any stores? thanks!

Do you or any of your friends have a car? You might do much better either hitting an outlet, such as Black & Decker, or a discount store chain, although so many have closed in the last few years. Central Ave in Westchester comes to mind, as every store in the free world in on that stretch, if you can get there.

Check Sears for sales and coupons. (Trying to recall if there are any in the City). Speaking of coupons, were any at Macy's close enough to get if they go on sale AND have a coupon? I've gotten many appliences there much cheaper than their daily price that way.

One tip though...in NYC I would definately not buy a used one. Not only do you not know the condition, if there were any bugs where it was used, they (or their eggs) might be hiding somewhere in the vacuum. I definately wouldn't take the risk, or it might end up being much more expensive and aggravating to save a few bucks!
