Getting rid of urine?
Question:My four year old has had a few accidents in the night and wet her bed. How can i get the smell of urine out of her mattress?

I had the same problem with my daughter and febreze worked very well.
Blot with vinegar and rinse well with water. (and invest in a plastic mattress cover)
clean it and then febreeze it

Use a carpet cleaner and clean the entire mattress
You might want to try hydrogen peroxide. I used it on my carpet for odor removal and it removed the smell. It didn't remove any color, but you may want to test a small spot first to make sure it doesn't remove color. Pour it on and let it dry. Iyou can pour it on, let it sit for awhile, and then pull up with the cleaner.
Lemon Juice, it will eliminate the smell.
soak with oxydel and primrose oil
Use a product with active enzymes that will "eat" the actual live organisms in the urine that cause odor. This will also work well on carpet spills and pet mistakes.

you can never get rid of the smell.completely..so i would suggest..what we did for ours..buy a new mattress..cheap one cover it with a plastic cover..put a thin duvet over that..and then a sheet..these can be washed ..and the mattress is protected by the plastic cover..when she is old enough to stop wetting..you can replace the mattress with a dearer one..okay..
EVEN THOUGH YOU get rid of the smell, that thing gonna stay in your head..so just to get rid of all this plawa..do urself a favour and buy a new one..trust me,thats the only way out..;)
